nb install


nb install [OPTIONS] <FORMULAS>...

Installs formulae from bottles, and casks. Prefix a name with cask: or pass --cask to install a cask. An installed formula is left alone, or upgraded if it is outdated.

Options

`--no-link`	Do not create symlinks after installation
`-s`, `--build-from-source`	Build from source instead of using bottles
`--formula`, `--formulae`	Treat the names as formulae
`--cask`, `--casks`	Treat the names as casks
`--auto-init`	Initialize without prompting (env `NEXTBREW_AUTO_INIT`)
`-v`, `--verbose`	Increase output verbosity (repeatable)
`-q`, `--quiet`	Suppress output, only show errors
`--require-sha`	Refuse a cask without a checksum
`--no-binaries`	Leave out the casks’ binaries
`--language <LANGUAGE>`	Not supported: casks install in their default language

Differences from brew

If a formula has no bottle for your platform, nextbrew stops and tells you to use --build-from-source rather than building silently. See Building from Source.
